About Me

Fully Qualified
ADI DVSA Approved

I am a fully qualified ADI (DVSA Approved) driving instructor providing manual driving lessons. I currently reside in East Kilbride and have complete DBS and PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) certifications.

My approach is fully client-centred — I actively encourage two-way conversation so we can both fully understand your learning needs every step of the way. Whether you're starting fresh or returning after a break, I'll meet you where you are.

Lessons

Learning at
Your Pace

I design a customisable programme of lessons, taking steps to make sure you never feel pushed beyond your comfort zone. I provide all the latest DVSA requirements so you're fully prepared — not just for your test, but for driving for life.

  • Lessons can start as soon as you turn 17 (or 16 with PIP Mobility) with a provisional licence
  • You don't need to have passed your theory test to begin
  • Recommended 90-minute lessons — the perfect sweet spot between 1hr and 2hr sessions
  • Practice with friends and family in between is encouraged (as per GOV.UK guidelines)
  • Test referred to as a 'demonstration' of your skills — you'll be ready for it and beyond

All lessons are 90 minutes — the recommended sweet spot that gives you enough time to consolidate skills without losing focus. Block bookings are available for better value.

If your availability is varied, feel free to discuss directly — other lesson lengths are available on request. Payment by bank transfer or cash on the day. Block bookings must be paid in full before the first lesson and are non-refundable.

What You
Need to Know

General

  • You must have your provisional licence with you on every lesson (required by law)
  • You must notify your instructor of anything affecting your driving ability or entitlement
  • A GOV.UK driving licence check is required before lessons begin
  • The instructor can refuse to take you to test if not at the required standard

Cancellations

  • 48 hours' notice is required to cancel a lesson
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged in full

Payments

  • Payment by bank transfer or cash on or before each lesson
  • Block bookings must be paid in full before the first lesson of the block
  • Block bookings are non-refundable

DVSA Test Rules

  • Only the learner can book, cancel or rearrange a test
  • 10 working days' notice required for a full refund on test cancellation
  • You are allowed to make 2 changes per test booking
  • If changing test centres, you can only choose from the 3 nearest to your original booking
